This site intends to be the home for a diverse range of creative output, from graphic art and design through to toys and games or even literature – all with one common denominator: an element of creative art and design which qualifies an item to be included under the CAD label.
All featured content presents original designs by Zapata CAD.
Apart from the main site, an online store will offer a specially curated selection of items that fit the same criteria, although this will include articles from external sources as well.

His parents met each other in that country, where they had ended up after following the hippie trail like so many others in the 70s. In his mother’s case, this involved travelling overland from Austria via Turkey, Iran and Afghanistan, while his father hailed from Venezuela.
Growing up in the Himalayan mountains and being immersed in a living culture that dates back to antiquity, with its ancient gods and myths, provided a fertile breeding ground for an overly active imagination as well as a lasting love of fantastic art and literature.
This site is at once a gallery and a portfolio of diverse creative works by the designer. There is also a full section dedicated to a childhood passion that has evolved into a serious hobby - designing LEGO models.
